Niladri Paul is an artist based in New Delhi. He earned his graduate degree from the Government College of Arts and Crafts, Kolkata. Niladri has always enjoyed doodling and comic drawing. His passion for the arts inspired him to pursue a career as a painter. Paul paints abstracts and figurative works in a beauteous display of his love for dance, culture, movement and music which translates on his canvas. He paints with bold colours and proud strokes, the quality of simplicity and an understanding of his audience. The city’s rich cultural life and his fascination with the performing arts find ample representation on his canvas in lively portraits and engaging movement. He paints with acrylics on large canvases, creating a stir of change in all his pieces, even the ones in the same series or theme.
